I know the media are all getting 'giddy' about bottoms, market bottoms to be precise, but I’m sure sooner or later they will find the next fad to chase. Wasn’t it 18 months ago they all reported the end of the world was neigh?
The funny thing is; we're all consumed by it, the endless reporting and analysis. Rolling news is the biggest time waster; what's the benefit of repeating news? I got it the first time Maria. So... what's all this got to do with the price of fish in China?...really.. What’s it got to do with trading? For me, it's nothing, zero, nada, zilch.
If it wasn't for sheer boredom...I wouldn't take any notice of the news. All the information I need is in my charts.
I thought I should help the press with what their next headlines should be...so here are my top 10 made-up news headlines for 2009.
